Have you ever thought about being a licensed real estate agent in Washington state? Diamond Real Estate is looking for experienced and unexperienced personal. If you are unexperienced, no worries, you will receive guidance on how to get your license and how to conduct real estate business once you are licensed. In order to get a Washington state real estate license one must be 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent, complete 90 hours of approved real estate education, pass broker exams, must be ready to answer legal background questions and provide documentation if needed, and submit your fingerprints for the background check (due every 6 years).
A good indicator to see if you really want to be a licensed real estate agent is to read, do quizzes, and tests that are in the Washington State Real Estate Practices 10th Edition and Washington Real Estate Fundamentals 20th Edition. Both books will cost around $115 from Rockwell Institute. It is better to spend $115 rather than $600 for the complete course to know if this is something you want to invest your time and money into. Have any questions feel free to reach out.
You can pick what MLS to work in. You can choose one, two, or which ever MLS you want to work. Keep in mind, you can go anywhere in the state of Washington and help your client. The MLS membership makes it easier for you to access homes during showings, inspections, and delivering keys. If you do not have access to the key boxes you will have to depend on the listing agent for these tasks and not all agents are willing to help.
